Students will learn a variety of skills including First Aid and Adult & Pediatric CPR, water rescue techniques, how to use lifeguard equipment and other topics important to lifeguarding.

This class will be held at St. Joseph's University Danzi Natatorium in Patchogue NY AND at our office located at 1 South Ocean Ave Patchogue NY 11772 Suite 216. Address of pool will be emailed. Below is the specific times for each date.

The content of our course is completed with both pool, classroom and online instruction. Our class is taught by an American Red Cross Instructors with over 20 years lifeguarding and swim experience.

All students receive a CPR mask, Whistle, PDF copy of the American Red Cross Lifeguard Manual.

At successful completion, students will receive the following:
1) Lifeguarding (2 year certification)
2) CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers (2 year certification)
3) First Aid (2 year certification)

Please note that in order to take this course, students must be a minimum age of 15, and also successfully complete that following:
1) 300 yards of front crawl and/or breaststroke
2) A surface dive to a depth of 7–10 feet
3) Returning to the surface with a 10-pound object
3) Swimming 20 yards back to the starting point
4) Treading water without the use of arms for 2 minutes
