80% of the world’s species are insects – inhabiting soil, plants, water, and air. We will explore insects in the Landcraft Garden with Jeff Petracca, Entomologist and Educator at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. He is a fantastic teacher for both children and adults of all ages. This entomology workshop includes exploration, instruction, and collecting in the garden; seated instruction in the West Terrace; break time with snacks; and finally photographing & documenting the specimens.
