Path Through History Weekend

As New York State begins its phased reopening, we would like to announce that this year's annual June Path Through History Weekend (PTHW), currently scheduled for June 20-21, will be a virtual event, starting on June 15 and running through July 4. This format will allow for participation from our entire historic community, regardless of reopening status, while promoting additional engagement through its extended timeframe.

Many members of our historic community are currently offering online virtual content, and we urge you to submit these experiences as PTHW events. The PTHW website and submission page will be updated shortly to reflect the new virtual programming, and you will be alerted when that work is completed. Once the submission page is live, we will be accepting submissions of online experiences that will be available anytime between June 15 and July 4, and approving qualified events that are submitted through July 2.

A virtual event may include access to digital archives, a live stream event, a virtual tour, a video demonstration or a short lecture or educational event. These events can be scheduled for a specific time or date, or continuously live for the public to access at their convenience. Events for this Path Through History Weekend will be limited to virtual events only.

Currently, the virtual event format only applies to our Spring weekend; registration for the Fall weekend events remains open. We are again partnering with Greater Hudson Heritage Network to facilitate the event, and they can be reached 914.592.6726 or with questions.
