Screening of TESLA movie starring Ethan Hawke

An advance drive-in movie screening of the IFC Films production TESLA, starring Ethan Hawke, will take place at Nikola Tesla’s famous Wardenclyffe Laboratory in Shoreham to raise funds for virtual education. The historic event will also stream live.

On July 11, 2020, Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe (TSCW) is hosting an advance screening of the IFC Films production TESLA that will feature a live Q&A with starring actors Ethan Hawke and Kyle MacLachlan and the movie’s writer and director, Michael Almereyda.  TSCW will present TESLA to honor Nikola Tesla’s 164th birthday and raise funds for critically needed virtual education programs and resources.

TESLA will be presented by TSCW six weeks before its official US release for both an online screening and a Drive-In Movie Night at Wardenclyffe, the only remaining laboratory of inventor Nikola Tesla. The TESLA Birthday Bash program: 8:00-8:30 pm ET Lightning on Demand, featuring a 17-foot Tesla coil and rare wireless electricity demos by Greg Leyh; 8:30-9:00 pm ArcAttack, world performers who play music with Tesla coils and electric guitars; 9:00-10:30 pm TESLA movie screening, both online and Drive-in Movie Night at Wardenclyffe; 10:30-11:00 pm livestream Q&A. For tickets and details:
