Maestro (1939-2010), lead singer for the Crests, the Del-Satins and, eventually, the Brooklyn Bridge, recorded rock n roll hits like Sixteen Candles and The Worst That Could Happen. The Brooklyn Bridges 1968 performance on the popular Ed Sullivan television variety show launched its career.
The Empire State, a collaboration of veteran New York musicians of the 1960s through the 1990s music scene, features current and former members of well-known regional groups.
Stuart has performed professionally for five decades, starting in the early 1960s as one of the lead vocalists of a well-known Bronx, N.Y., acapella group, The Zirkons. He also has sung with various Long Island groups and has appeared in many solo shows throughout the tri-state area. His repertoire, sung in his renowned bel canto style, includes Sincerely, Gee, But I'd Give the World and his signature song, Unchained Melody.
